The book was written by Michelle Carter. Art was provided by Eric Deschamps, Wayne England, David Griffith, Ralph Horsley, Todd Lockwood and Howard Lyon.

Wizards Presents: Races and Classes was released by Wizards of the Coast in December 2007 for $19.95 US, or $25.95 Canadian.[1]
On February 2, 2016, it was re-released in digital format. It is currently available on DriveThruRPG and Dungeon Masters Guild for $4.99.
