  • Hi,

I was trying to modify Template:Infobox wiki to fix a problem where entries with spaces in them were appearing incorrectly (as seen on Tim Kask's entry). However, it seems to be refusing to save my attempts to revert it back to your version (since none of the changes I tried fixed it). Can you revert it back?

Incidentally, I don't see a way to fix the spacing issue offhand without some complicated wiki magic, do you have any ideas? JEB1981 (talk) 19:58, November 23, 2019 (UTC)

    • OK, so I was able to restore the template to your version, but only by removing the example of its usage that was in there. Hope you can restore it.

Linking to articles through the template that have a space in the title (like "Tim Kask") still fails to work. I found a workaround - include an underscore in the name (i.e. "Tim_Kask"). But it's not pretty.

Also, to figure out where the problem was, I had to create a duplicate page, Template:Infobox wiki2. Please delete it, it serves no further function. JEB1981 (talk) 03:37, November 24, 2019 (UTC)

    • Thanks for your contributions to the wiki. I've deleted Template:Infobox wiki2 and restored the example to the original.

I've fixed the template now so that underscores will be unnecessary.

    • Glad you could fix it, sorry for the trouble. And let me know if I go wrong on any other formatting as I get used to the particulars of this wiki! JEB1981 (talk) 23:59, November 24, 2019 (UTC)
