By means of this spell, the caster conjures up an undead creature from elsewhere, and commands it. It obeys unflinchingly. The duration is short, however, and the creature returns from whence it came in only a few minutes.

This spell is most useful to conjure an undead ally for a short time to fight alongside the caster. Only the

Summon Undead has five levels of power. The level this spell is cast at determines what calibre of undead creature is summoned -- higher levels of power yeild more powerful undead creatures, or simply more, weaker creatures.

Creautre List[edit | edit source]

  • Level 1: Human warrior skeleton or kobold zombie
  • Level 2: Owlbear skeleton or bugbear zombie; or two undead of the same kind from the Level 1 list.
  • Level 3: Ghoul, troll skeleton, or ogre zombie; or two undead of the same kind from the Level 2 list, or four undead of the same kind from the Level 1 list
  • Level 4: Allip, ghast, or wyvern zombie; or two undead of the same kind from the Level 3 list, or four undead of the same kind from the Level 2 or Level 1 lists
  • Level 5: Mummy, shadow, vampire spawn, or wight; or two undead of the same kind from the Level 4 list, or four undead of the same kind from the Level 3, Level 2 or Level 1 lists
