Stone Shape[edit | edit source]

Debuted in the Player's Handbook as a druid and magic-user spell.

Druid[edit | edit source]

Level: 3 School: Alteration
Components: V, S, M (mistletoe, soft clay formed into the desired shape and pressed to the stone)
Range: Touch Casting Time: 1 round
Duration:Permanent Saving Throw: None
Area: 3 cubic feet, + 1 cubic foot per level

Forms an existing piece of stone into any desired shape. For example, the caster could make a stone weapon, fashion a trapdoor, sculpt an idol, reshape a stone door, create a stone coffer, create a doorway through stone, etc. The fineness of detail is not great -- the shape created is merely functional.
