Skuld is one of the Norns, of the three goddesses of fate of the Norse pantheon known as Destiny's Daughters. Her name means "necessity", and she has the power to see the future.[1][2]
In her true form, Skuld is a handsome female dwarf, though she may also appear in the form of a swan or other animal.[3] She typically appears alongside the other Norns, Urd and Verdandi.
She rarely fights, but if forced to, she wields a dagger which can drain the physical and mental strength with each strike.[4]
Skuld is of true neutral alignment.[3]
