Player's Strategy Guide is a 160-page sourcebook for Dungeons & Dragons 4th edition released in May 2010.

Official synopsis[]

The D&D Player's Strategy Guide is aimed at D&D players who crave the envy of their gamer peers. If you want a character that’s jaw-droppingly cool, this book is for you. It provides tips and tricks for optimizing your D&D characters - to make them more awesome and fun to play at the game table. In addition to character optimization tips and player advice, this book includes entertaining sidebar essays written by celebrity gamers and a distinctive comic art style unlike other books in the D&D game line.

The book was written by Tavis Allison, Eytan Bernstein, Greg Bilsland and Michele Carter. Art was provided by Kalman Andrasofszky, John Tyler, Christopher Leon Cortez, Kate Irwin, Mike Krahulik and Drew Pocza.

Release[]

Player's Strategy Guide was released by Wizards of the Coast in May 2010 for $[missing data] US or $[missing data] Canadian.

On August 11, 2015, it was re-released in digital format. It is currently available on DriveThruRPG and Dungeon Masters Guild for $14.99.
