Moin is a linnorm who bites at the roots of the world tree Yggdrasil.
Moin is brother to Goin and son of Grafvitner the Gnawing Wolf.[1]
Creative origins[]
Moin originates in Norse mythlogy. It is described in stanza 43 of Grímnismál as an ormr or wyrm. The meaning of its name is not clear. It is not referenced in any other known works, and stanza 43 is thought by some scholars to be a later addition to the original text.[2]
