Lords of Darkness was written by Sean K. Reynolds and James Wyatt. Art was provided by Mark Zug, Adam Rex, Anthony Francisco, Matt Cavotta, Carl Critchlow, Michael Dubisch, Mike Dutton, Raven Mimura, Puddnhead, Stephanie Pui-Mun Law, Richard Sardinha, Kalman Andrasofszky, and Dennis Kauth.

Lords of Darkness was released by Wizards of the Coast in November 2001 for $32.95 US, or $45.95 Canadian.[1]
On April 14, 2015, it was re-released in digital format. It is currently available on DriveThruRPG and Dungeon Masters Guild for $7.19.
