The book was written by Erik Mona, Gary Holian, Fred Weining and Sean K Reynolds. Art was provided by Brom, Rob Lazzaretti and Sean Glenn.

Living Greyhawk Journa #1 was released by the RPGA to members in September 2000.

On October 16, 2018, it was re-released in digital format. It is currently available on DriveThruRPG and Dungeon Masters Guild for $1.99.
