The Jolly Rancher is a joke creature introduced in Dragon #282 (Apr 2001).

Description[]

It is an ooze related to the gelatinous cube. It is translucent, but not so difficult to spot.[1]

It is translucently evil in alignment.[1]

Abilities and traits[]

It fights by slamming into its opponent with its body. Its method of attack is known to break the opponent's teeth. Additionally, it has the power to engulf an opponent, burning it with sour watermelon acid that causes paralysis. An add sweetener spell or wish counteracts the effect..[1]

It has a tendency to attract lint and debris and to stick to things. It also has a 10% chance to reflect any spell back at the caster; 5% of such spells have their range, area, and damage increased by 10 feet.[1]
