Infernal Machine Rebuild included many references to Dungeons & Dragons history, to mark D&D's 45th anniversary. There were also references to recent appearances by D&D in pop culture, specifically Stranger Things and The Big Bang Theory.[1]
The adventure was released on the Dungeon Masters Guild in support of Extra Life, with all proceeds from sales going to that charity.[2]
Reception and influence
As of August 23, 2020, the adventure was a mithral best-seller on the Dungeon Masters Guild.[2]
