Imps of ill humor are imps of the lower planes who embody unchecked passions, each possessing the negative qualities of one of the four humors.[1]

Description[]

As with imps in general, imps of ill-humor resemble small, winged humanoids. Their sickly flesh is flush with corrupt humors and their faces are emotional masks that change little with circumstances.[1]

Abilities[]

Imps of ill-humor excel in grappling those they claw and can all fly. Their sting siphons the humors of their victims, causing a permanent imbalance curable only with a cure disease or heal spell, and they can cause a contagion of a disease related to their humor. They themselves are immune to poisons and diseases, and each type resists a certain element.[1]

Combat[]

How imps of ill-humor fight depends on their temperament, but they all enjoy the taste of fresh humors (both as fluid and spiritual essence) which they obtain through their imbalancing sting. It is speculated that the stolen humors temporarily relieve them of their own imbalanced condition.[1]

Society[]

Imps of ill-humor, like normal imps, are most often found in service to fiends or spellcasters, acting as familiars to those of neutral evil alignment.[1] They can also be found operating in gangs and mobs consisting of various other types of ill-humored imps.[1] Imps of ill-humor can speak both the Abyssal and Infernal language, as well as Common.[1]
