Ghosts of Saltmarsh, released in 2019, is an adventure module compendium for Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition.

Ghosts of Saltmarsh includes seven adventures from across various previous editions of Dungeons & Dragons. The adventures have been updated to be compatible with Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition.

  1. U1 The Sinister Secret of Saltmarsh (1981), originally published for Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 1st edition. Suitable for first-level characters.
  2. U2 Danger at Dunwater (1982), originally published for Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 1st edition. Suitable for third-level characters.
  3. Salvage Operation, Dungeon #123 (Jun 2005), originally published for Dungeons & Dragons 3.5. Suitable for fourth-level characters.
  4. Isle of the Abbey, Dungeon #34 (Mar/Apr 1992), originally published for Basic Dungeons & Dragons. Suitable for fifth-level characters.
  5. U3 The Final Enemy (1983), originally published for Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 1st edition. Suitable for seventh-level characters.
  6. Tammeraut's Fate, Dungeon #106 (Jan 2004), originally published for Dungeons & Dragons 3.5. Suitable for ninth-level characters.
  7. The Styes, Dungeon #121 (Apr 2005), originally published for Dungeons & Dragons 3.5. Suitable for eleventh-level characters.

The book also includes an overview of Saltmarsh, an appendix with rules for seafaring games, and appendices for magic items and creatures from the original adventures.

Release

Alternate cover

According to the book's inside cover, Ghosts of Saltmarsh was printed in May 2019. The store release date was May 21.[1] Game stores also received an exclusive alternate cover,[2] by N.C. Winters.[3]
