This spell debuted in the Player's Handbook as a magic-user spell.
| Level: 3 | School: Conjuration/Summoning |
| Components: V, S, M (a drop of oil and a small piece of flint) | |
| Range: Touch | Casting Time: 3 segments |
| Duration: 1 segment/level | Saving Throw: None |
| Target: Each arrow or bolt touched | |
Once this spell is cast, the caster may touch one arrow or crossbow bolt per segment in the duration, causing it to light on fire. The flame consumes the ammunition within 1 round. Before that time, the ammunition can be fired, and is considered magical. The flaming ammunition has normal probabilities to cause combustion, and will at any rate deal +1 damage from the fire.
