Debuted in the Player's Handbook as a druid spell.
| Level: 6 | School: Conjuration |
| Components: V, S, M (mistletoe and 4 acorns or 8 holly berries) | |
| Range: 4" | Casting Time: 1 round/seed |
| Duration: Special | Saving Throw: Halves |
| Effect: Four acorns or eight holly berries | |
The caster creates four acorns that serve as explosive genades or eight holly berries that serve as incendiary projectiles. The caster can throw them out to the range, or place a command word to activate them. The acorns explode to 1" when activated, dealing 2d8 damage and igniting combustibles. The holly berries can be tossed to 6', and burst into flame when activated, dealing 1d8 damage and igniting combustibles within 1/2". The command range for any seed is 4". Creatures caught in the area of the fire seeds can make a saving throw to halve the damage, but creatures struck directly take full damage.
DM's Advice: All thrown seeds are considered short range, and misses are handled using the rules for grenadelike missiles.
