Puts the target into an unconscious state that resembles true death.

Feign Death[]

Debuted in the Player's Handbook as a spell for magic-users, druids, and clerics.

Cleric[]

Level: 3 School: Necromantic
Components: V, S, M (holy symbol and a pinch of graveyard dirt)
Range: Touch Casting Time: 2 segments
Duration: 1 turn + 1 round/level Saving Throw: None
Target: Creature touched

A creature of any level is put into a cataleptic state resembling true death. A creature so affected can still smell, hear, and understand what is going on, but their body is numb and they cannot see. Paralysis, poison, and energy drain also do not affect the target, though poison will become effective when the spell wears off (allowing its usual saving throw). Only a willing creature can be affected. The caster can end the spell at any time before the duration is up, but it requires 1 full round for the affected creature to come around.

DM's Advice: The target consumes air at 1/100th the normal rate. Any poison in the target's system is slowed to a stop for the duration.

Druid[]

Level: 2 School: Necromantic
Components: V, S, M (mistletoe and a dead oak leaf)
Range: 1" Casting Time: 3 segments
Duration:4 rounds + 2 rounds/level Saving Throw: None
Target: One creature
