The book was written by Frank Mentzer. Art was provided by Jeff Dee, Larry Elmore, Wade Hampton, Dave LaForce, Erol Otus, Jim Roslof and Bill Willingham.

Release[]

Dungeons & Dragons Expert Set Rulebook was released by TSR in August 1983 for $^{[missing data]} US or $^{[missing data]} Canadian.

On August 02, 2016, it was re-released in digital format. It is currently available on DriveThruRPG and Dungeon Masters Guild for $4.99.
