The entombed are a breed of undead formed by a freezing death. Bonded with the ice that formed around their bodies, and filled with a need for vengeance against those who failed to save it, the entombed stalks the iciest parts of the frozen wastelands, seeking to create more of its type.

The entombed seek out travelers to kill. They are able to move seamlessly through ice, snow, and slush, just as if it were liquid water. They can detect creatures by vibration and, when they find potential prey, they attack by grabbing potential prey, and trying to confine the creature inside themselves. If successful, another entombed is born, as hungry for vengeance as the first.
