Electrum is a precious metal consisting of an alloy of gold and silver.

Electrum is a bright yellow metal. It is composed of gold alloyed with silver, and can be found naturally occurring or made deliberately. It is harder and more durable than gold.
Uses[]
Electrum is used in some realms to mint coinage, although not all use this metal in their standard currency. Where electrum coins are minted, they are often worth half a gold piece, or five silver pieces. Some worlds have electrum coins worth two gold coins, perhaps due to their size or historical value as antiques.[1]
Like other precious metals, electrum is used to make jewelry and art objects.
