Dungeon Delve is a 192-page sourcebook for Dungeons & Dragons 4th edition released in March 2009.

Official synopsis[]

Deadly Dungeons for All Levels!

If you're a Dungeon Master looking for some quick one-shot adventures, or you're searching for fun encounters to weave into your home D&D campaign, look no farther!

This Dungeons & Dragons supplement provides Dungeon Masters with 30 short, easy-to-run mini-dungeons - or "delves" - each designed to last a single game session. The book includes delves for characters from 1st to 30th level and features maps built using D&D Dungeon Tiles. Each adventure presents unique and challenging encounters to keep your players on the edge of their seats.

Development and release[]

Development[]

The book was written by David Noonan, David Christ, Greg Marks, Shawn Merwin, Dru Moore and Bill Slavicsek. Art was provided by Wayne Reynolds, Rob Alexander, Dave Allsop, Lee Moyer and William O'Connor.

The book's cover art was originally commissioned for the cover of the Player's Handbook (4e) (2008). The final release of that book instead used a different art piece by Wayne Reynolds, featuring a Dragonborn instead of a tiefling.

Release[]

Dungeon Delve was released by Wizards of the Coast in March 2009 for $29.95 US, or $34.00 Canadian.[1]

On January 22, 2013, it was re-released in digital format. It is currently available on DriveThruRPG and Dungeon Masters Guild for $14.99.

Reception and influence[]

Critical reception[]

As of 2023, Dungeon Delve reached the rank of Platinum seller on DriveThruRPG.
