A dolgaunt is an aberration from the Eberron campaign setting.

Dolgaunts are sightless creatures created by the daelkyr from captured hobgoblins. They sometimes work with the Cults of the Dragon Below and often command lesser aberrations, such as chokers and dolgrims. Dolgaunts train to become monks and rarely use weapons or armor.

Publication history[]

D&D 3rd edition[]

The dolgaunt first appeared in the Eberron Campaign Setting (2004).

D&D 4th edition[]

The dolgaunt returned in the Eberron Campaign Guide (2009), which detailed the dolgaunt monk. The dolgaunt also appeared in Seekers of the Ashen Crown (2009).

The dolgaunt warrior was detailed in Dungeon #155 (Jun 2008). The dolgaunt monk and dolgaunt dark-hailer appeared in Dungeon #179 (Jun 2010). The dolgaunt lunatic appeared in Dungeon #206 (Sep 2012).

D&D 5th edition[]

The dolgaunt was updated for Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition in Eberron: Rising from the Last War (2019).
