This spell instantly reduces the target to ash, requiring a wish spell or the equivalent to recover their body and soul. The target is allowed a saving throw vs. death at -4 to avoid this fate, and if successful, they take 8d6 points of damage instead. After casting this spell, the caster requires one day of bed rest for each experience level or Hit Dice of the resurrected creature.
The reverse of this spell is resurrection.
