The caster issues a command of a single word and the recipient, if they understand, obeys. Undead are not affected, and creatures with 13 or greater Intelligence and/or 6 or more hit dice are allowed a saving throw. Typical commands include back, halt, flee, run, stop, fall, fly, go, leave, surrender, sleep, rest, etc. A command to "Die!" (or something similar) causes the creature to faint, but the fainting wears off when the spell does in 1 round.
