In the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy roleplaying game, the bebilith is a type of fictional monster for player characters to encounter.

Publication history[]

The bebilith first appeared in second edition in the Monstrous Compendium Outer Planes Appendix (1991),[1] and was further detailed for the Planescape setting in the first Planescape Monstrous Compendium Appendix (1994).[2]

The bebilith appeared under the demon entry in the third edition Monster Manual (2000),[3] and in the 3.5 revised Monster Manual (2003).[4]

Description[]

The bebilith is an arachnid creature that hunts tanar'ri in the Abyss.

Originally, in 2nd edition AD&D the bebilith was not listed as a tanar'ri, but in 3rd edition D&D the bebilith was listed as a demon.

Other publishers[]

The bebilith appeared in Paizo Publishing's book Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Bestiary (2009), on page 32.[5]
