Analects of Vondellak is a book on the use of truenames. It consists of multiple volumes, and details the use of a category of truename magic known as the Lexicon of the Evolving Mind.[1]

Each word of truespeech detailed in this book represents a verb or action. Spoken correctly, each utterance detailed in this text can afflict a single creature with a spell-like ability. Spoken in reverse, each word forms an opposite effect.

This book is considered a core reference to the use of truename magic, and is generally considered easier to learn than other lexicons of the art. The most widely-accepted theory is that the universe pays closer attention to creatures than static objects or places.

Other key tomes on truename magic include The Spotted Libram, which details the common nouns of inanimate objects, and Hadrakk's Tome, a challenging text on addresing fixed locations.
