Analects of Vondellak is a book on the use of truenames. It consists of multiple volumes, and details the use of a category of truename magic known as the Lexicon of the Evolving Mind.

Each word of truespeech detailed in this book represents a verb or action. Spoken correctly, each utterance detailed in this text can afflict a single creature with a spell-like ability. Spoken in reverse, each word forms an opposite effect.

This book is considered a core reference to the use of truename magic, and is generally considered easier to learn than other lexicons of the art. The most widely-accepted theory is that the universe pays closer attention to creatures than static objects or places.
