Alderac Entertainment Group, also known as AEG, is a game publisher launched in 1993 by Jolly Blackburn. The company was named after Blackburn's home Dungeons & Dragons campaign world. AEG originally focused on the magazine Shadis but eventually moved into publishing role-playing games, including Legend of the Five Rings, taking place in the Rokugan setting.
After the release of Dungeons & Dragons 3rd edition, AEG began publishing d20 System compatible material. This included World's Largest Dungeon (2004), an over 800-page D&D 3.5 adventure set entirely inside an enormous dungeon, designed to take characters from levels 1 to 20 over the course of two real-time years.
Following the release of Oriental Adventures (3e) (2001), AEG also published D&D 3rd edition material for the Rokugan setting under the Oriental Adventures brand.
