G1-2-3 Against the Giants is a 32-page adventure module for Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 1st edition released in 1981. It is for characters of levels 8-12.

It combines three modules: G1 Steading of the Hill Giant Chief (1978), G2 The Glacial Rift of the Frost Giant Jarl (1978), and G3 Hall of the Fire Giant King (1978).

Official synopsis[]

This material was originally published as three separate adventures: G1 (STEADING OF THE GIANT CHIEF), G2 (THE GLACIAL RIFT OF THE FROST GIANT JARL), and G3 (HALL OF THE FIRE GIANT KING). Contained herein are referee notes, background information, maps, and exploration keys for three complete adventures using the ADVANCED DUNGEONS & DRAGONS™ rules. This module can be used alone or as the first in a series of adventures that includes Dungeon Modules D1-2 (DESCENT INTO THE DEPTHS OF THE EARTH), D3 (VAULT OF THE DROW), AND Q1 (QUEEN OF HTE DEMONWEB PITS).

The book was written by Gary Gygax. Art was provided by David C. Sutherland III, David A. Trampier, Jeff Dee, David S. LaForce, Erol Otis and Bill Willingham.

Release[]

Against the Giants was released by TSR in 1981 for $[missing data] US or $[missing data] Canadian.

On January 22, 2013, it was re-released in digital format. It is currently available on DriveThruRPG and Dungeon Masters Guild for $4.99.
