A Chronicle of the Flan People is a book by Rexidos, the Scholar of Greyhawk.[1]

The text describes the known history of the Flan people of the world of Oerth. It describes the events which led to the fall of the Flan empire of Sulm, generally accepted to have occurred around the year -700 CY.

Seeking domination over his unruly subjects, Shattados the Cruel accepted a dark gift from the god Tharizdun, called the Scorpion Crown. The artifact led to the ruin of his kingdom. His former lands are now a desert wasteland, and nearly all of the descendents of his former people are cursed scorpion-men inhabiting the ruins of their ancestors.
